Cakes I've made recently

I've stared playing around with making and decorating cakes recently. Here are a few that I've made.

 

I made this cake to take to John's Parents house last fall. It was a chocolate fudge cake with chocolate buttercream icing. The leaves were made from coloring fondant and then using a set of different sized leaf cookie cutters that came from Hobby Lobby.

This was Grace's (our oldest) 12th birthday party cake. This was made by coloring the fondant, and then using a paint brush and food coloring to paint on the animal print.

This cake was for my sister's baby shower. It was made very similar to the one above.
